Australia‘s Curtis Stone is known as a ‘young gun’ in the food world, and one of the new generation of chefs.

Classically trained in London under Marco Pierre White, Curtis is an author and presenter of the globally successful cooking/lifestyle programme, Surfing the Menu, and has one of America‘s most popular reality/cooking shows, Take Home Chef.

Ever since he was young, Curtis has been fascinated with food, and realised it was food that brought family and friends closer together. He believes the key to great cuisine starts with great ingredients, and is always interested in how food is sourced and produced. Favouring organic and natural foods, that are preservative and chemical-free, Curtis buys fresh and uses seasonal produce.

When people say they don’t have the time to cook, Curtis insists that a good home cooked meal can take less time than waiting for a take-in pizza – and can be a lot more fun. It’s one of life’s’ great pleasures.
