NIKE and LIBERTY OF LONDON have collaborated on two new collections. Already available are the classic Blazer, Hyperclave (pictured), and Dunk Sky Hi trainers, plus a range of sportswear, and next month another series will be introduced. Log on to www.liberty.co.uk

JIMMY CHOO and artist ROB PRUITT have teamed up to create a capsule collection of shoes and handbags for the 2013 cruise collection. Known for his glittering panda bear paintings, sculptural blue jeans, and his silver Andy Warhol monument in New York, Pruitt’s work references pop culture, fashion, and Hollywood. Past collaborations between Jimmy Choo and contemporary artists and photographers include Nan Goldin for the 2012 Cruise Icons collection, Marilyn Minter for the 2011 Crystal collection, and Richard Phillips for the Spring 2008collection. Watch the video of Tamara Mellon talking about the inspiration of the ICONS collection and ad campaign with Nan Goldin. The Pruitt collection will be sold at Jimmy Choo boutiques and online from November. Paris. CRISTOBAL BALENCIAGA, Collector of Fashion is a tribute to the designer, commemorating the 40th anniversary of his death and love of Spanish history. A collection of more than 70 Spanish costumes and clothing from the 18th to 20th centuries are displayed alongside couture coats and dresses created by Balenciaga between 1937 and 1968.

Also showing is REI KAWAKUBO‘s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. White Drama is a collection of 33 pieces that will be shown in plastic bubbles to allow close inspection of the intricate designs. Both exhibits are on show now at Les Docks, Cité de la Mode et du Design, in the13th arrondissement, by the Musee Galliera, until October 7. HARRODS will commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with a pop-up ballgown boutique in celebration of the V&A’s exhibition Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950. Featuring designs by Erdem, Marchesa, Carolina Herrera, Roberto Cavalli, Nina Ricci, Jenny Packham, Elie Saab, and Valentino, a selection of gowns will be on view in the Brompton Road windows. Also on show will be an exhibition of bespoke display crowns created by Paul Smith, De Beers, Tiffany & Co, Boucheron, Roberto Cavalli, Prada, Mulberry, Fabergé, Shu Uemura, Jo Malone, and Lanvin.
