HEALTH WARNING ON 3D TV

A health warning in April from Samsung warns that 3D TV could cause light-headedness, nausea, dizziness, twitching or even convulsions, especially in individuals with epilepsy.

Samsung cautions parents to supervise children closely because they could be more susceptible than adults. The company advises consumers to take ‘frequent breaks and to avoid watching 3D movies or games when they are in poor physical condition, need sleep or have drunk alcohol’. It also warn customers not to place a 3D television near open stairwells, balconies or ‘other objects that may cause you to injure yourself’ if you fall.
