When Seamus Mullen was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, the chef and restaurant owner decided to modify his diet instead of resorting to pills.
Experimenting with the foods that he loved to eat resulted in a satisfying improvement in his health, and also led to his debut cookbook, Hero Food.
Highlighting the 18 key hero foods that he discovered during his experiment, recipes are inspired by traditional Spanish cuisine and farm-to-table ingredients that reflects Mullen’s years of work and travel in Spain and the produce from his Vermont farm.
