HUNG ON U BAG AUCTION
The Hung On U fashion label, founded by former model Patti Hansen, has pulled the coup of getting a round of celebrities and fashion designers to create one-of-a-kind bags to be auctioned off for charity.
Celebrity designers include Anthony Kiedis, Debra Messing, Patricia Arquette, Simon Doonan, Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, and family contributions from Patti’s husband Keith Richards and model daughters Alexandra and Theodora.
The bags are being auctioned off for charity, and starting bids began at the bag line’s Barneys launch party last week. Bidding will close on October 12, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation to find a cure for the genetic connective tissue disorder.
