Fontana Park is the modern transformation of a century-old iron factory by architect Francisco Aires Mateus and award-winning designer Nini Andrade Silva. Presented as a Zen shelter in the centre of the city, it overlooks parkland, the old city’s architecture, and Saldanha Square.

An interior open-air courtyard features a waterfall and bamboo trees, and the minimalist interior is coloured in a simple palette of black, white, and grey, accented by green and purple. Iron elements feature as an homage to the original building, and the 139 rooms continue the reclamation theme with concrete walls, softened by sleek, modern furniture.

The sun-lit Bonsai restaurant, home to a 100 year-old bonsai tree, serves an Asian menu, and the black-and-purple themed Saldanha-Mar restaurant serves modern Portuguese seafood.

Located just 4 km from Lisbon International Airport and 5 km from all major attractions.
