MARILYN & ME

Lawrence Schiller is one of the last few photographers alive to have photographed Marilyn Monroe. Not since collaborating with Norman Mailer on the 1973 book Marilyn: A Biography has his work on the star been shown as extensively as now, in both the exhibition and book launch of Marilyn & Me.

Hundreds of rarely published and never before seen photographs are now unveiled from the shoot on the set of Monroe’s last ever film, Something’s Got to Give, just weeks before her death. Crane.tv interview Schiller about the first time he met Marilyn Monroe, and his thoughts on the conspiracy to murder her.

Marilyn & Me is now on show in London until June 23 at Walton Fine Arts. Log on to www.waltonfinearts.com and www.taschen.com to buy the book.
