MEDIA MISTRUST

A survey involving 5000 interviews across 23 countries, released by EdelmanPublic Relations reveals that the Australia‘s public trust in the media is lower any other country in the world.
Only 32%c of the Australian public trusts the media, compared to a global average of 49%. Worldwide, media is the least trusted of all industries, with just 28% of the public having faith in its content. Top of the list is technology, with a 68% trust register.
