NO FUN BEING EXTINCT
Dame Vivienne Westwood is investing £1million of her own funds to launch a £7million fund-raising campaign supporting the rain forest charity Cool Earth. The campaign, No Fun Being Extinct, supported by names such as Kate Moss, Lily Cole, and Sadie Frost, aims to help Cool Earth secure three of the world’s most endangered forests. Continuing her eco crusade, Vivienne Westwood has also launched a collection of stationery items produced from recycled paper. The collection includes an A5 diary with text in five languages (English, French, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese), and notebooks and address books available in a selection of designs.
The embossed leather effect features Vivienne Westwood and Squiggle prints in black, navy blue and deep fuchsia, and the second style draws on Westwood’s iconic use of tartans, with a signature gold foil embossed orb. The collections are now available in all Vivienne Westwood stores and online.
