SMELLS LIKE MACBOOK PRO

Apparently, Apple products emit a certain smell once you open them, and Air Aroma have turned it into a fragrance.

The scent (a combination of glue, plastic, rubber and paper) is a collaboration with Greatest Hits, a team of artists based in Melbourne, Australia, and was made especially for their upcoming art exhibition.

Once AirAroma met with Greatest Hits to understand the concept and desired effect, the ingredients for the fragrance had to be sourced. A brand new, unopened Apple was sent to a fragrance lab in the South of France to create samples scents, and then Air Aroma fragrance designers used them to create a range of signature blends before a final fragrance was selected.

The fragrance will be diffused for the duration of Greatest Hits’ exhibition, De facto Standard, at West Space, Bourke Street, Melbourne, April 20th – May 12th. Log on to www.greatesthitswebsite.com and www.westspace.org.au for futher information.

Although the Macbook Pro fragrance was created for use at this particular exhibition, and is not available for purchase, Air Aroma can create custom signature fragrances for brands and companies. Log on to www.air-aroma.com
