THE IOU CLOTHING PROJECT
The IOU Project uses Facebook, QR codes, and apps to connect the buyers and makers of clothing. IOU offers items of clothing, uniquely identified by QR codes, with links to pictures and profiles of the weavers and artisans who created the products. You can also take a photo of yourself and upload it so that the weaver and the artisan can see their work worn by you, and help complete the story.
Through IOU you can become a reseller of any item by applying to become a trunk show host, sharing your contact details and links to your Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts. If you sell the items in your trunk, you get a commission from sales.
